Lily Mae Stirling 25th august 2010

Our little angel Lily Mae was born sleeping on 25th august 2010 at 7.40 am at 19 weeks 3 days gestation after a 23 hour labour. I had to be induced due to her having a severe case of enecephaly. They told us she would not survive once born, if she even made it to full term. We couldnt put our baby through that. Once baby was delivered the midwife told us we had a little boy, so we had the funeral etc for what we beleived to be our son...then when we got the post mortem results back we were given the news we infact had a little girl !

Lily was the most perfectly formed tiny little person i had ever laid eyes on. And i miss her all the time. Nothing is ever going to replace my beautiful little girl. But i am happy in the knowledge she is safe playing up with all the other angel babies in heaven and keeping a close eye on her baby brother who is due in july
